Jessica Drake to Speak at CatalystCon East on March 28

ARLINGTON, Va.  — Sex educator and Wicked Pictures contract performer Jessica Drake has been announced as a featured speaker for CatalystCon East, to be held March 27–29 in Arlington, Va.

Drake will speak on Saturday, March 28, on the panel, “Beyond the Pop Shot: Using explicit instructional media for sex education.”

“I’m really looking forward to participating in this exciting panel,” drake said. “Being an adult performer/director and sex educator has given me unique insight into media’s role in sex education.”

The popular guest speaker will discuss her experiences in the adult industry and her work as a sex educator and host of the instructional sex series “jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex,” distributed by Wicked Pictures.

Other "Beyond the Pop Shot" panelists include clinical sexologist Dr. Ava Cadell, Adam & Eve General Manager Bob Christian and licensed marriage and family therapist Dr. Hernando Chaves.

According to organizers, the event will “discuss the evolution of sex education instructional videos, from their early onset to the modern instructional.” The panelists will discuss how the use of instructional aids can impact sexual attitudes, challenge sexual anxiety, and improve the overall quality of people’s sexual relationships.

An event synopsis read, “How can instructional aids be used by sex educators, therapists and counselors to better serve their clients and students? How popular are instructional aids and who buys them? Is there any research that looks at the impact of instructional aids on people? The panel will examine these questions and more.”

"Jessica's openness and willingness to share her knowledge and unique insight really embodies the spirit of CatalystCon, so I'm thrilled to have her returning to CatalystCon East to speak about sex education,” CatalystCon founder Dee Dennis said.

The event will be presented in the Adams Room from 11 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. at Hilton Crystal City at Reagan National Airport.
