LOS ANGELES — The awards season continues with the announcement of the nominees for the 2015 X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) Awards and the Popporn Awards.
Kota Sky received two XRCO noms, New Starlet and Cream Dream. Popporn has her in the running for Best New Starlet and Performer of the Year, the only person nominated in both categories. They also nominated "Pure, Vol. 1" (Airerose Entertainment), which features Kota on the cover as well as in a scene, for Best Teen Porn.
“This is very exciting for me,” said Kota, the young performer formerly known as Dakota Skye. “It’s amazing that people think that I am worthy of the nominations and that I could even win awards for having sex. It’s very flattering and I want to thank both XRCO and Popporn for considering me.”
Last month the modest Kota was named Best Anal Performer at the Alt Awards.
The XRCO Awards are voted on by its members, a collection of the elite writers and reviewers who know the industry as well as anyone. Popporn will be decided by fan voting, which can be done here.
