Webinars Discuss Business Strategies for .porn, .adult

MIAMI — ICM Registry has slated four free webinars in the month of March that will discuss trademark and brand strategies for the new .porn and .adult top-level domains.

The next seminar starts tomorrow at 2 p.m. (EST), with more slated the next three Thursdays.

There are a number of special launch programs and offers designed to provide trademark owners, brand owners and .xxx registrants priority registration opportunities in the new TLDs.

Panelists will discuss ICM Registry’s new Domain Check Tool; the Trademark Clearinghouse registration to ensure first-mover advantage in the new TLDs; details for Sunrise B for .xxx Sunrise B participants; and domain matching for .xxx registrants.

The panelists also will give a primer on brand protection in the new era of TLDs.

ICM Registry launched the .xxx TLD several years ago and later won permission to operate .adult and .porn. Its .sex TLD is slated to roll out in the fall.

The webinars are slated each Thursday through March at 2 p.m. (EST), with the exception of March 19 when the event will start at 10 a.m. (EST).
