JamesDeen.com Sponsors UCLA Panel About Adult Business

LOS ANGELES — JamesDeen.com is the official sponsor of this Wednesday's panel discussion about the adult industry to be held on the campus of University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). The panel will feature adult performers James Deen, Tasha Reign and Colby Keller and is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Wednesday. It is only open to UCLA students and credentialed media.

“A Porn Panel,” produced by UCLA’s Campus Events Commission, aims to give students an insider’s look into the adult industry, its effects, and impact on society and modern culture. Noted sociologist and adult industry expert Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals will moderate.

The panel is located in Moore Hall, Room 100. Media may request access to the event by emailing Marketing@JamesDeen.com.

Among the discussion topics posed to Deen and the others will be porn’s impact on society, the life of a porn star, the health and safety of performers, content piracy and porn as free speech, as well as topics on sexuality, such as sexual shame, sexual empowerment, and more. A 20-minute Q&A will follow the 40-minute panel.

A multiple XBIZ Award-winner as well as the creator of JamesDeen.com, Deen will provide insight on his rise to stardom and status as a crossover star. He is recognized for his work and his unique brand, which carries forth Deen’s message and motivation: “Think for yourself. Be true to yourself. Explore life and live without shame.”

“I feel it is important to have an open and healthy conversation about human sexuality,” Deen said regarding his involvement with and sponsorship of the panel. “I feel as a society, we are pre-conditioned to have certain sexual repressions that sometimes end up creating negative outcomes. Hopefully be encouraging this kind of expansion and discussion to younger generations, we can promote a positive understanding of respect, boundaries, and human rights.”
