Jewel De’Nyle Looks for New Directing Gigs

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Female performer-turned-director Jewel De’Nyle is looking for more work behind the camera. Once part owner of Platinum X Pictures, De’Nyle also is looking to sell the titles she owns that were released through the company.

“I want to go back to directing full time,” De’Nyle told XBIZ. “I don’t want to own my own product, which just comes with too many headaches, and I’m at a point in my life I don’t want to deal with that. I’m real focused on directing a few lines that I love to shoot. I love the lines I shoot now; I just want more work.”

The bi-coastal De’Nyle, who maintains offices in midtown Manhattan and Los Angeles, currently directs for 5th Element and owns the select group of lines she shoots for them, including two interactive lines and the girl-girl series “Dirty Nasty Girls.” De’Nyle’s next title for 5th Element is “Interracial Interactive with Dana DeArmond.”

De’Nyle also is on tap to direct a girl-girl series for Anarchy, which “is great to shoot because it was my favorite thing to perform on camera,” she said.

Through her former company Platinum X Pictures, De’Nyle directed 59 titles not including two finished movies that have yet to be released. She is looking to sell this catalog to a new owner. Her popular Platinum X lines include “Dirty Girlz,” “Interracial Lust” and “Sinful Asians.”

“I’m looking to sell my ownership in these titles to anyone who wants to purchase them all in one shot,” she said. “The new owner can’t use the same name, but the footage can be split up into a great series of compilations. Another option for the footage is video-on-demand. There is some amazing content in there with big-name performers and great production values.”

De’Nyle can be reached via email at platinumxpic@optonline.net.
