LOS ANGELES — Veteran director Stoney Curtis told XBIZ he is in pre-production for “The Procreation Games,” which he says will be the first feature movie that will be shot in front of a live studio audience with porn fans as the extras.
“The Procreation Games,” which is being produced by Curtis’ studio Lethal Hardcore, features a high-profile cast that includes 2015 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year Anikka Albrite and 2014 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year Riley Reid.
Popular performers Maddy O’Reilly, Brooklyn Chase, Kelsi Monroe, Mercedes Carrera, Noelle Easton and Laela Pryce also have been confirmed as cast members with more girls to be announced soon.
In order to become an extra for the shoot on April 25 in Los Angeles, fans must sign up for the newly created Lethal Hardcore Fan Club and purchase a special 15-DVD variety pack. Upon completing the order, fans must email LethalFanClub@Gmail.com with their order number to request a free ticket to attend the filming of “The Procreation Games.”
“I wanted to shoot a movie and get the feel of a real crowd because it’s a futuristic project,” Curtis said. “In the movie you have to have an audience for the game-show ‘The Procreation Game,’ and I didn’t want to use some bogus live-audience track.
“Artistically, that’s what we were looking for, a live crowd. So I thought why not start a fan club and the people that support Lethal Hardcore can get a free ticket, whether they’re an extra or just in the back of the crowd watching the action.”
Curtis emphasized the ticket to watch the filming of the movie is free.
“I’m selling DVDs,” he said. “When you buy a certain amount of DVDs, then you get entered into the fan club and you can get your free ticket to watch the movie being made.”
While Curtis is most known for his work in the gonzo and all-sex genres with more than 750 credits in the past 22 years, he has plenty of experience shooting features in the early to mid-90s, when he directed titles such as “Erotic Artist” and “Snatch Motors” in ’95, and “Butt Motors” in ’96 for VCA.
Curtis, who is also co-writing the screenplay for “The Procreation Games,” gave a summary of the plot.
“The movie takes place in the year 2112 and by this time the United States has gone into Civil War and the country has been broken up into different territories,” the director explained. “The war the men have fought has exposed them to radiation and toxic gasses which have destroyed most men's fsh and LH hormones located in their pituitary gland leaving them with sterile sperm.
“The leader of the territory played by Evan Stone asks his bitch hunters to round up men that are known to still be fertile and bring them to the stage inside a bunker so they can participate in the Procreation Game. They’re on the hunt for active sperm. With the proper amount of active sperm a serum can be created that can be injected into the leader to allow him to procreate. He’s in desperate need to have a son.
“All the townspeople are there to witness history. Why are the town’s people there to witness this? Because they love and support him; he’s brought them freedom. That’s why we need an audience.”
On April 25, the doors will open at noon at the location about 15 minutes east of L.A. International Airport. The event takes place on a 100,000 square-foot private location with a gated parking lot.
The 15-packs of DVDs come in six different niches such as Big Tits, Big Butts, , MILF and Interracial; fans may choose the kind of pack they want.
“The tickets will go out with the DVD packs,” Curtis said. “When you get your box of DVDs, in your box you’ll be given instructions, the address of the shoot and the ticket. The ticket will be barcoded for security purposes. We’ll have a barcode reader at the show in case anyone tries to get cute.”
Curtis said the plan is to do these kinds of shoots three times per year, changing the movie each time.
There are other potential perks for Lethal Hardcore Fan Club members on April 25, such as the chance to meet the stars of the movie.
“You can only meet the stars if you become a VIP,” Curtis continued. “The VIP section will allow you to get closer to the filming and also allow you to go backstage and meet the talent. You’ll be paying more to go behind the scenes. You’ll get in earlier and get to meet the talent before they go on stage and shoot the movie.”
Curtis said the free ticket is for one eight-hour day on set.
Exotic dancers will be entertaining between scenes, and a headlining DJ will be announced soon. Curtis said for those in need of discretion, masks will be provided for anonymity.
