LAS VEGAS — Empowered Products announced that its award-winning PINK and Gun Oil brands of personal lubricants have received CE certification and the CE Mark as Class 1 Medical Devices.
The certification enables Empowered Products to expand distribution and sale of its PINK and Gun Oil products throughout mass-market pharmacy and grocery outlets and adult wholesalers in the European Union (E.U.).

The CE Mark is mandatory for specific product groups in the European Economic Area (EEA), which consists of the 27 Member States of the E.U. and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries of Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The European Commission describes the CE Mark as an E.U. "passport,” which fosters free circulation of products within the EEA.
