Honey’s Place Vet David Denson Passes Away

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Honey’s Place veteran account manager, David Denson passed away Sunday morning after suffering a heart attack at the age of 49.

Denson was part of the Honey’s Place family for almost 17 years.

“Every day he was the first person here in the morning and the last person to leave at night,” the company said in a statement. “He truly cared about his co-workers, customers and especially his friends and family. David was kind to everyone. He was the person here at Honey’s Place that people came to for everything from product knowledge to listening to someone when they had a problem. David had a special ability to touch so many people in so many ways.”

According to the company, Denson had a passion for classic cars, and founded a Facebook group dedicated to uniting all Mopar owners who were into the preservation and restoration of Mopar-built vehicles.

“David embedded the core values of Honey’s Place. He engaged with all of his customers and knew them on both a professional and personal level,” said Bonnie Feingold, President and CEO of Honey’s Place. “Not only will we miss his expertise and leadership as an account manger at Honey’s Place, but we will miss his friendship, his deep concern for others and his generous spirit. We express our deepest condolences to his family, his friends, and all his customers.”

Added Feingold, “David was not only an employee but he was my friend. David will be forever missed and never forgotten.”

Other Honey’s Place employees also shared their memories of Denson.

Cristine Hallgrimson called Denson “a true friend with a generous spirit.”

Deandra Smith stated, “David cared about everyone who he came into contact with.”

Chris Armstrong said, “knowing and working with David has been a great blessing.”

Honey’s Place said it would post details on funeral arrangements on its Facebook and Twitter pages.
