DIMOCO Gears Up for European Summit

BRUNN AM GEBIRGE, Austria —  DIMOCO announced that it is readying for the upcoming European Summit, March 7-10 in Stiges, Spain.

The billing provider is inviting business partners to its happy hour networking event on March 9 at the Lizard CLC music club in Hotel Calipolis. The company will also speak about new market developments at the event's payment panel.

As part of the co-operation contract, DIMOCO noted that it will also be at the European Summit in Prague in September 2015.

“Easy, convenient and secure — carrier billing is the number one payment method when it comes to billing digital content. This is exactly what the entertainment industry is looking for,” said Gerald Tauchner, DIMOCO founder and CEO.

He added, “There are several trends of major importance for the online entertainment industry. Besides the simplicity and convenience that are the advantages of implementing carrier billing in the check-out process, multiscreen usage — i.e. users who not only surf on their desktop PCs or watch digital content on their TV screens but also use their smartphones as well as their tablet PCs — is an important factor when it comes to finding the right payment method. Another trend is that users are ready to pay but don’t have the possibility or do not want to provide personal data. With carrier billing, consumers pay for their purchases via their cell phone plan with just a few clicks."
