ECN Reveals Winners of 'Fifty Shades' Sales Promotion

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. — East Coast News on Friday announced it has chosen the winners of its "Fifty Shades of Grey" winter sales promotion. The valued retailers received an authentic Twitchy Palm Spanking Paddle from the Official Pleasure Collection and a copy of the bestselling first book, both signed by E.L. James, respectively.

“At ECN, our world revolves around our customer, and we like to keep things fun by creating incentives that tap into the greater narrative of the sensual product industry,” explained Justin Vickers, retail coordinator for East Coast News. “We congratulate our winners, and look forward to their continued success.”

Based on their overall "Fifty Shades of Grey" orders, which included the Official Pleasure Collection as well as the bespoke Limited Edition Red Room Collection, East Coast News customers were entered for a chance to win authentic items signed by bestselling author E.L. James through mid-January.

Vickers added, “With the official wide release of the film adaptation hitting today, the 'Fifty Shades' craze is far from over, and we are proud to have the opportunity to ship the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Official Pleasure Collection and the Limited Edition Red Room Collection by Lovehoney to valued retailers across the country.”

“It isn’t very often that something in the mainstream causes an immediately noticeable increase in new faces to our stores,” said a manager of the one of the lucky stores. “I can’t tell you how many customers started with, “So my wife is reading this book and sent me down here to find something”; by book three, the wives were stopping by themselves! Big thanks to Eileen [ECN sales rep] who always stays on top of what’s new and exciting.”

East Coast News is currently shipping the Fifty Shades of Grey Official Pleasure Collection and will ship the Limited Edition Fifty Shades of Grey Red Room Collection next week, both by Lovehoney from its three nationwide warehouses. Interested retailers are encouraged to contact ECN’s sales staff by emailing sales@ecn.com, or by visiting ecn.com.
