LONDON — British adult entertainment studio Harmony Films is spreading its wings and plans to produce and market its own transgender porn line.
Growing global consumer interest in transgender content spurred Harmony Films to move into the market, company execs told XBIZ this morning.
Called Harmony Shemale, the studio has at least one film in the can, “Trans Trans Revolution,” that was filmed on location in Brazil.
The film, starring shemales Juliana Souza, Bruna Butterfly, Sabrina De Castro and Monik Lorran, is set for release March 2.
The London-based studio, which has produced more than 100 films since its launch in 2004, is widely associated with producing heterosexual- and lesbian-orientated movies.
Last year, the studio scored with its “Down on Abby” parody of the mainstream serial “Downton Abbey.”
The studio last month received honors at the 2015 XBIZ Awards, winning the European Non-Feature Release of the Year for “The Initiation of Alina Li.”
