Brandi Love to Finish Career With 12-Scene Deal for Brazzers

LOS ANGELES — Adult film star Brandi Love told XBIZ she has signed a 12-scene deal with Brazzers that will mark the final performances of her porn career.

She said there was no specific timetable to complete the scenes, but most likely she’ll get them in before the end of this year. The first one is scheduled for later this month.

“I made the decision to start to transition,” said Love, who launched her official website in 2004 and started coming to L.A. to shoot porn in 2008. “It’s just time. I’ve had an exceptional career and I’m not done yet, but I did know I was going to limit what I do over the last couple years.

“I’m in no hurry to exit. It’s just going to be a very fun year and a very exciting year.”

She said the deal came together because of her strong rapport with Keiran Lee, the veteran Brazzers contract performer and director.

“I’ve always had a great relationship with Keiran Lee and I completely trust they would produce some of the best scenes that I’ve ever shot,” Love said. “After talking to Keiran, this made sense for both of us.”

Love estimates she’s performed in almost two-dozen scenes for Brazzers and its various sites during her career, which includes more than 80 movie credits.

“I first shot Brandi around three years ago for Brazzers and was totally blown away by her performance in the scene,” Lee told XBIZ.

“But not only that, also her professionalism on set. Over the months to follow we became friends off set as well as colleagues on set and I got to see how dedicated she is to every scene she is in. If every girl had the attitude that Brandi does towards her scenes then the industry would be a blissful place to shoot every day of the week.”

Lee added, “When I learned that she intended to shoot her final 12 scenes I immediately contacted [Brazzers Production Manager] Yancee McDonald and made sure we took them all straight away to make sure that Brandi goes out with the bang she deserves.”

Love said the primary reason she decided to bow out after this deal was her other business interests have taken off faster than she anticipated.

“They require a lot of more of my time and attention and I’m never one to do anything half-assed. I’m going to approach those things with the same fervor I did with porn and give them my all,” Love said.

While she couldn’t divulge exactly what her new endeavors are, Love revealed “it does involve real estate as well as the fashion industry.”

“I went to school for fashion design, so it may not be right out of the gate but it never really left me,” said Love, who studied at Central Michigan University. “I’ve always been intrigued by it. I’ve had a love for fashion my whole life and the opportunity came up so I’m going to take it."

Born and raised in Detroit, Love lived in Florida before settling down for the past 15 years in North Carolina. Last year she flew to LA to do porn almost every other month for one- to two-week spans in what was her busiest year thus far. Now as she maps out her last tour of duty in Porn Valley, Love couldn’t be happier with how she’ll be stepping away on her own terms.

“I made sure I had the opportunity to end my career having done everything I ever set out to do,” Love said. “Honestly, it is a dream come true. If I sound happy, it’s not happy to be leaving the adult industry, because I’m not done yet and I’ve got great scenes coming and I know it.

“The best way I can compare it is to a great athlete — a quarterback — going out at the top of his game. It’s a dream to be able to walk away on my terms after all the hard years I put in to develop a brand a name and a place in the industry. I feel like I’ve finally done it and it’s an unbelievable feeling.”

Love continued, “My husband and I started BrandiLove.com because it was fun and hot and sexy, and we just rolled with it and gave it everything we had. We stayed true to who we are."

She said she’s thankful for the quality of her loyal fan-base.

“I’m still so humbled when I get recognized. I’ve had the opportunity to meet incredible people and live my life the way I chose to live it,” Love said. “And these insane opportunities have come up all because of the adult industry and me choosing to live out who I was born to be. And that’s a liberated individual who doesn’t have any sexual hang-ups.

“The fact that I’m going to go out because of my other businesses expanding and doing well makes me just ecstatic.”
