Chanel Preston Wraps 2nd Directorial Effort for James Deen Productions

LOS ANGELES — James Deen Productions has completed principal photography on “Smoke,” adult star Chanel Preston’s second movie as a director for the studio.

Preston’s first foray into directing boy/girl sex, “Smoke” is scheduled to release in April.

"I was very excited to apply all that I learned from [directorial debut] ‘Chanel Movie One’ to ‘Smoke’, which is why I know this release will be even better than the first one,” said Preston, who also starred in the movie. “Thank you to my amazing crew and cast, who all contributed to making this movie great.”

The cast of “Smoke” includes Preston, Dana DeArmond, Marica Hase, Nora Belle, Aidra Fox, Isiah Maxwell, Ryan McLane, Bill Bailey and Ramon Nomar.

“By being both director and performer, I get a great sense of the chemistry between performers, and the dynamics of a scene as seen from the director’s chair,” Preston added. “It’s been an incredible experience!”

The movie follows Preston’s directorial debut in “Chanel Movie One,” which is scheduled to release on DVD Feb. 13 from James Deen Productions. The all-girl movie stars Veruca James, Claire Robbins, Sovereign Syre, Dani Daniels, Dahlia Sky, Zoey Monroe, Dana DeArmond and Phoenix Marie.

“I am very excited to see Chanel's second release,” James Deen Productions owner James Deen said. “The first one blew my expectations out of the water, and I can't imagine how amazing the second one will be.

“Chanel brings an aesthetic that is unique, in addition to being experienced enough to avoid making the mistakes she has seen others make on set. I have every bit of confidence that every movie she directs will be breathtakingly beautiful and also sexy as hell.”

Besides her recent movie directing debut, Preston’s previous experience directing and producing comes from her web series, “Naked with Chanel, which launched last year. In the series, Preston helps viewers shed their inhibitions and negative attitudes about sex in order to better understand themselves and others.
