Jeff Hawkins, senior vice president of LFP Video Group, told XBIZ that under the new deal, Hustler will distribute four movies from Thorn's company per year, plus provide airtime on Hustler TV.
The deal also comes at an opportune time, according to Hawkins, becasue Hustler is expanding its distribution into Europe -- and bringing Thorn's movies with it.
Nautica Thorn Productions CEO Robert Mora told XBIZ that Thorn had already finished her first movie to be distributed under the deal, and that it should hit stores in late February or early March of this year. He added that if the deal works out, the release schedule will increase to five or six titles per year.
"Nautica's very excited about signing with Hustler," Mora said. "It's a great company and a perfect match."
Hustler Video's distribution arm is LFP Distribution.
