Sportsheets Featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sportsheets International is featured in the February issue of Cosmopolitan magazine spotlighting the appeal of kinky products, the company announced.

The pleasure product company appears in the “Love Lust & Other Stuff” section of the popular magazine in an article called “Why Is Kink So Freaking Sexy?”

Cosmo's article. which serves as a preparation guide for the soon-to-be BDSM toy rush associated with the Valentine’s Day release of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” talks about the movie, it’s effect on the novelty industry and how kink has become a mainstream staple.

Sportsheets president Julie Stewart shared her thoughts of the books, being dubbed by Cosmo as a “kink veteran.”

In addition, the spread featured a three-page spread of recommended products for beginners, intermediates, and advanced users.

Sportsheets made the cut in the advanced buyers guide with its Red and Black Stripe Flogger from its Sex & Mischief line. Referred to by Cosmo as the “Stroke of Genius,” the women’s magazine's blurb says, “Give him a hard smack on the butt-or gently run the strands over his bare back like he’s in a delicious human car wash.”

“We are very honored that Cosmopolitan recognized our Sex & Mischief line for what is sure to be one of their most popular issues of the year,” Stewart noted. “With the most talked about movie release of the year right around the corner we have already seen a large spike in sales, especially with our new Sexperiments kits so to be mentioned in an article covering kink in the most popular women’s magazine in the world is huge.”
