Fucking Sculptures Declares 2015 'Year of the Dildo'

BERKELEY, Calif. — Glass dildo maker Fucking Sculptures announced today a new campaign to declare 2015 the “Year of the Dildo."

Owner Maria Anne said the campaign is a “hands-on” experiment on turning inward and reclaiming sexuality without all the bells and whistles that the modern vibrator industry has begun to incorporate.

“Not everyone “gets” dildos, especially glass dildos, and this is the year that changes,” Anne said. “Dildos are simple and sexy. They're about getting your hands wet and deep, intense pleasure.”

Through education, promotion, and some new partnerships with the Pleasure Chest and Tantus, Inc., Fucking Sculptures said it wants to give people the information they need to explore and connect with their bodies in a new way.

The campaign was launched on Twitter, asking followers to “tell their stories” with #YearOfTheDildo. There will be regular announcements on the company website and Twitter.

For more information on the campaign, email maria@fuckingsculptures.com.
