VENICE, Calif. — Rising cam star Harriet Sugarcookie knows that there is an emotional element to her work that is even more important during the holiday season.
“Being able to explore and share my sexuality with other people is a wonderful and special experience, but most of all a cam girl is a virtual friend, companion and lover to people that they connect with,” Harriet said. “That is the most rewarding part of what I do. It’s what gets me up in the morning.”
“I feel like I’m doing something that really helps people,” Harriet adds. “We’ve all been lonely — I certainly was when I first moved away to a different city for university — and I love being able to help people get through that.”
To help, Harriet is offering Skype shows on Christmas Day, blogging every day and doubling her video uploads, releasing two videos a week until after the New Year.
