Karch said that the 1974 movie Inserts is an old favorite of his. The movie features Richard Dreyfuss as a mainstream director who makes the move into adult entertainment.
"I've been keeping this one in the wings waiting for the right moment," Karch said. "The right moment is here now."
Karch said that Inserts will also continue a recent trend in the adult biz toward more plot-driven movies.
"Inserts is a gritty movie, something that's a break from the type of features I've been directing and will be reflective of the sort of drama and storytelling that I'm going to bring to the feature market," he said.
