LOS ANGELES — Steve Volponi V.P. of Sales and Production for Devil’s Film, has been named an official finalist nominee for the adult industry’s most prestigious career awards, the 2015 XBIZ Exec Awards, coinciding with the upcoming XBIZ 360 events series set for Jan. 13-16.
Steve has been named a nominee for the award category of “Businessman of the Year.”
Selection of nominees was based on a multitude of factors including leadership ability, business acumen, positive community influence and overall career success as submitted by industry peers via the adult industry social network, XBIZ.net.
“I’m really excited about this nomination. Since Nick Orlandino took over I’ve really been working super hard rebranding, and upping the quality of our line here that I didn’t even see this coming,” said Volponi. “It’s amazing to know that my efforts didn’t go unnoticed. I won my share of awards for productions, but this is about me… I’m truly floored, it’s so awesome!”
To be held at the chic Andaz Hotel on Hollywood’s famed Sunset Strip, the online industry edition of the XBIZ Exec Awards will be presented at an exclusive cocktail-style awards ceremony on the evening of Jan. 13 and the retail edition on Jan. 14.
