Hyde Park Productions Nominated for XBIZ Award

PHOENIX – Hyde Park Productions enjoyed a banner year in 2006 and capped it off with an XBIZ Award nomination for GLBT Company of the Year, Producer Doug Knight said.

“We would like to give our thanks to all those who voted for us by giving us the XBIZ nomination,” Knight said. “We have been filming videos for six years now and it is an honor to be recognized in the industry.”

Hyde Park also changed its distributor to White Tiger Releasing this year.

“Two thousand six was a great year for Hyde Park,” Knight said. “We won our first major award in March with the 2006 AEBN award for Best Featured Gay Video, and this summer we received our first prenomination from GayVN for ‘Twink Toy Story.’ We have stuck to our core value of quality over quantity and our customers have said ‘thank you’ by nominating us as the only video production company for the best GLBT company. I think that alone says a lot about us and where we are going from here.”

This year saw an increased customer base for Hyde Park with new direct customers in England, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Australia and Japan, Knight said. Hyde Park also saw an increase in the number of visitors to its free site, KnightBoyz.com.
