Revel Body Receives Five XBIZ Award Noms

SEATTLE — Revel Body has receive five nominations for the 2015 XBIZ Awards, including Excellence in Product Packaging, Innovative Sex Toy Of The Year – Technology, Innovative Sex Toy Of The Year – Design, Luxury/Toy Line Of The Year and the most coveted nomination; Sex Toy Company of the Year.

Revel Body just launched the third version of their sonic vibrator, the Revel Body SOL in August 2014. The first version of Revel Body’s Sonic Vibrator was one of the first successfully crowd-funded sex toys to hit the market. The original fundraising goal was set at $50,000 to bring to market, but the company raised more than $162,000.

“We are honored to have received five nominations from XBIZ,” said Revel Body CEO Robin Elenga. “Our team has been dedicated to developing new technologies and consistently improving our product. To be nominated for Sex Toy Company of the Year against industry giants with over 20 years in the business is truly humbling. I’m very proud of the innovation in our product’s technology and design.”

Revel Body has continued to expand and make improvements, including receiving their second patent on linear vibration motors and increasing distribution across the U.S. and into Russia and the U.K. They have also recently received mainstream attention. They were recently featured on blogger Mandy Stadtmiller’s xoJane.com list entitled “My 39 Secrets To Not Looking 39 (From Someone Who Just Turned 39)”. Stadtmiller personally endorsed the SOL Vibrator at #8 on her list.
