The film, which stars Wicked Girls Stormy Daniels and Jessica Drake, was encoded using Microsoft VC-1 codec. The team at Dimension DVD, which has had a longstanding relationship with Wicked, did the DVD authoring.
“We have enjoyed a prosperous relationship with Wicked Pictures for many years,” Dimension DVD President Daniel Milstein said. “When we made the decision to aggressively pursue this new technology, it was natural for us to work with Wicked on this important project.”
Chris Clark, Dimension DVD's Director of Emerging Technology, said he was excited to be working with the new format.
“We can do some incredible things with HD DVD advanced content,” he said.
Wicked plans to follow the release of “Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre” with “Curse Eternal,” which will be released early next year.
Wicked Pictures Vice President of Production Jackie Ramos called the decision to move into the new format historic.
“By working closely with Dimension DVD, we have secured our place in the history books with this major announcement,” Ramos said.
