Hustler Hollywood Hosts Book Launch, Signing Event With Author Amie Harwick

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Los Angeles-based marriage, family and sex therapist Amie Harwick will be signing copies of her sex guide for women, “The New Sex Bible for Women,” at erotic retailer Hustler Hollywood in West Hollywood on Nov. 11 from 8-11 p.m.

The event, which will treat attendees to complimentary refreshments, a burlesque performance, photo booth and surprise celebrity guest appearances, will also gift the first 40 guests Hustler Hollywood goodie bags

"I wrote this book to fill the much-needed space that was lacking accurate and basic sexual information for women,” Harwick said. “As a therapist, I strive to help women become more educated about their bodies and experiences. I want to be able to help normalize feelings and behaviors that we are sometimes scared could be abnormal. 'The New Sex Bible for Women' is like a Sex 101 for any woman. In case of emergency, keep on your bedside table."

“We are excited to have Amie signing her very first book at our store, and look forward to hosting many more of her books to come,” said Philip Del Rio, Hustler Hollywood senior director of retail operations. “Her insight into what women of all ages deal with on today’s sexual playing field will help them put their best selves forward and satisfy their partners.”

Harwick’s debut book, set for release on Nov. 1 from Quiver Books, is a comprehensive sexuality guide for women that explores a wide range of topics, from masturbation, sex positions, self-esteem and personal care to navigating the new sexual rules in a world of sexting and Internet pornography.
