Dusty Urban has been selected as the new vice president of sales for the Cherry Boxxx Pictures label and Ray Burke will oversee Backend Productions. Both promotions are effective immediately.
Urban has been with K-Beech since its inception in 1988, while Burke, who has been a K-Beech employee for 14 years, is a 20-year veteran in the adult video industry.
“Let’s face it, the bottom line is if your titles do well on a retail level then distributors will have to carry them,” Burke said. “This is something I have experienced through my handling of the 450 video store chain Family Video.”
Cherry Boxxx Pictures has enjoyed success since its inception in 2003. The studio produces a variety of niche-oriented titles including its best-selling title in 2005, the animated “PornoMation.” The company released “PornoMation 2” in June.
Urban was excited about the promotion, noting, “Cherry Boxxx continues to grow and the ‘PornoMation’ line is among our biggest sellers.”
