Sportsheets Gets Product Plug on CW's 'Whose Line Is It Anyway'

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sportsheets International received a mainstream plug recently when its Keychain Whip was featured on the hit CW network TV show "Whose Line Is It Anyway."

The plug came way of an audience member, Molly Romeo, a senior account manager at Holiday Products, who offered up a random item in her purse for one of the show's skits, "What's In the Bag."

That random item turned out to be Sportsheets' Keychain Whip, a top-selling product for the BDSM manufacturer.

"I was so thrilled when Molly told us that they had used one of our products in a 'Whose Line' skit," said Julie Stewart, president of Sportsheets International.

"The exposure for us was great, but what makes me even happier is the fact that someone like Molly, an industry insider who works for Holiday Products, which carries thousands upon thousands of products, chose to have a Sportsheets brand product in her purse over the other 20,000-plus discreet-sized items she could have had."

In the skit, cast members rubbed cast member Wayne Brady's head with the keychain that includes latex threads, wood bead, plastic clear tubing and nickel-free metal hardware.

"As a long time fan of the show I was so excited to be able to attend a live taping but had no idea that they were going to actually end up picking me to be in one of their skits," Romeo, said. "It was a hilarious skit and so great to see them use one of my favorite Sportsheets products on the show."

Sportsheets, a pioneer manufacturer of BDSM products for more than 20 years, offers the Keychain Whip in black, purple, red, pink and green. The product comes in assorted combinations of 12 retailers.
