LOS ANGELES — Erica Fontes, the 2013 XBIZ Foreign Female Performer of the Year, on Sunday walked the runway at Lisboa Fashion Week in her native Lisbon, Portugal.
The Portuguese star worked the catwalk at Páteo da Gale in the center of Lisbon, wearing a dark blue dress with chains from designer Dino Alves’ newly unveiled Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
“Dino contacted me because he is a big appreciator of my work and thought I would be a perfect model for the show,” Fontes told XBIZ Monday. “And the title of his show was bold — ‘Lick me, eat me, taste me and kiss me.’ But the title is not about erotic or porn, it is about the personality of the people.”
Lisboa Fashion Week, produced by Moda Lisboa, happens twice a year — in March and October — on the international fashion calendar. A selection of designers shows their collections to the press, buyers, professionals, industry and guests during the four-day event.
Fontes said she had been in one previous fashion show when she was very young, but nothing compared to Lisboa Fashion Week, which is regarded as the most important fashion event in the country. Alves, meanwhile, is one of Portugal's most notable fashion designers.
Fontes, who closed the show, was the only adult performer on the runway, appearing under her porn stage name as a special guest of Alves.
“I was very happy when Dino invited me as a porn actress to enter such an important event,” Fontes said.
She said she’d definitely do it again if asked.
“Yes, of course,” Fontes said. “I love fashion and this was a dream come true.”
The performer, the most well-known adult star in Portugal with more than 60 DVD credits since 2010, said she recently ramped up shooting for her own production company, Team Erica Fontes. She plans to produce content for TV in her home country and DVDs for the world audience.
“It’s funny, because when I am the director I am shooting naked, for I can feel and enjoy more,” Fontes revealed. “I will go start shooting again this week for my company and with actresses for other producers.”
