CalExotics Honored With Creativity International Award

LOS ANGELES — California Exotic Novelties announced that it has received the Creativity International Award for Outstanding Creative Design for its Scandal Collection.

The Silver Award recognizes excellence in packaging design.

“With this award California Exotic Novelties breaks another barrier. Because we’re being honored alongside of so many household name brands, this validates everything we do — not only as the leading pleasure product manufacturer, but also as a leading manufacturer, period,” CEO Susan Colvin said.

CalExotics said the Awards are one of the longest running, independent advertising and graphic design competitions. Open to both students and professionals from around the world, Creativity International Awards are judged by a rotating panel of advertising and design professionals who volunteer their time and knowledge without personal agenda or bias. Winning entries are selected for their quality of art, or advertising impact, or both.

“Scandal is a merchandising dream,” vice president Jackie White said. “The beautiful photography depicts the interaction between the couple in such a way that it tells a story — which is a great way to sell a product. No wonder Scandal won a Creativity Award in this category. It’s absolutely stunning.”

The Scandal Collection is an array of light fetish playwear and includes cuffs, restraints, paddles, masks and more.
