“Between The Headlines: A Lesbian Porn Parody” was written and directed by Lily Cade and also stars
Vanessa Veracruz, Nina Hartley, Lotus Lain, Aiden Starr, Ela Darling and Zoey Monroe.
“I’m really glad Lily cast me as Megyn,” Aaliyah Love says. “Playing a reporter was fun. I love working with Lily and she’s one of my favorite producers because she really cares about the movies she’s making, and I love the creative spin she puts on all her scripts.”
“‘Between the Headlines’ is my spoof on Washington, filtered through the lens of lesbian porn,” says Lily Cade. “D.C. is so corrupt, and that atmosphere of secrets, lies and spin just sets up perfectly for a porn parody.”
“We shot on the Digital Bolex D16 in 2K raw and had an amazing, dedicated cast who really worked with me bringing these characters to life,” Cade adds. “It’s my most ambitious movie, and possibly my best.”
