XBIZ Celebrates the Holidays in Style

STUDIO CITY, Calif. – To celebrate the holiday season, and to toast to a successful 2006, XBIZ held a holiday party at trendy Clear lounge Friday. What started as an intimate gathering for XBIZ staff, soon turned into a see-and-be-seen industry event.

Clear provided a sleek and modern venue for partygoers to kick back and rejoice in the holiday spirit. Decorated in pearl white with plush banquettes and settees throughout the lounge area, everyone was treated to a top-shelf open bar and scrumptious appetizers served on Clear’s outdoor patio.

“We are enormously proud of the year we had in 2006, and we’re overjoyed so many people came to celebrate with us,” XBIZ Director of Public Relations Dusty Marie said. “It’s a wonderful feeling to know we have the support of the adult community – both online and on the video side. Look for more great things from XBIZ in 2007.”

Two thousand six was a momentous year for XBIZ. In January it saw the birth of XBIZ Video, the industry’s premier trade publication for studios, distributors and retailers. In August, XBIZ held its first industry conference, the XBIZ Summer ’06 Forum at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

On the heels of its triumphant summer forum, XBIZ is holding a next-gen industry conference, XBIZ Hollywood ’07, at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in the heart of Hollywood, Calif. Feb. 7-8. The conference culminates with the 5th Annual XBIZ Awards at the Highlands.

Party revelers included Tera Patrick, Evan Seinfeld, Eva Angelina, Trina Michaels, Carly Parker, Daryn Darby, Jasmine Byrne, Tee Reel, De’Bella, Nick Manning, Jeff Mullen, KSEX Radio’s Tony Batman, Monstar of ContactPornstars.com, Hustler director Van Styles, Lynn LeMay, director Roy Karch, New Sensations director Greg Lansky, LatinCash’s Gary Dginger, Mike Moz, attorneys Greg Piccionelli and Michael Fattorosi, Sexentertain’s Mike M., the XFANZ team, DatingGold’s Alfonsus Kusuma, VividCash’s Holly Stokes, Dean Sussman, Playboy’s Matt Kalinowski, ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine, XBIZ Publisher Tom Hymes and XBIZ President Alec Helmy.

Op-Ed: The Guardian's XBIZ Amsterdam Podcast Dismisses Creators' Experiences

British newspaper The Guardian’s podcast coverage of XBIZ Amsterdam 2025 purports to investigate the power dynamics of today’s online adult industry. Instead, it ignores creators’ voices, airs tired and outdated preconceptions about the business, and rehashes the unsupported claims of anti-pornography crusaders.
