American Xcess distributes lines from 15 production studios, of which it holds exclusive, worldwide distribution rights for each.
Content Junky’s licensing and distribution platforms include worldwide Internet rights for downloadable videos, stills and DVDs, Asian cell phone distribution, cable broadcasting, iPod delivery with patent pending technology, IPTV and print media content for catalogs, newspapers and magazines.
“We are delighted with our new affiliation to American Xcess, the strength and depth of their producers is rare today; most studios have only one genre but American Xcess covers a broad spectrum,” Content Junky President Tim Cooper said. “We are confident that there will be a significant demand for their material from a variety of media platforms, especially in Asia where we have long-established relationships in mobile, 3G and iPod marketing.”
Harry Jose, American Xcess’ general manager told XBIZ that this deal makes his company a new, but significant player in the global distribution market.
“We have a huge variety of content available, not only for webmaster license, but for cellphones, iPods and other media platforms,” he said. “We might be new, but this is an earnest attempt to becomes globally successful. We all know the giants out there, but I think we are uniquely positioned to become a player in the global game by casting a wide net, plus our content covers many niches.”
Jose also said he thinks the deal with Content Junky gives his company leverage in finding new distribution partners because the company is not just limited to U.S. DVD distribution.
American Xcess holds exclusive global representation and distribution agreements with MSS Interactive, CD Girls, One Eyed Jack, Joanna Jet, Your Choice, British Bukkake Babes, Mad At It Productions, Pissy Galore, Shameless Studios, Hercules Productions, Spanking Tomato, Erotic Flesh Productions, Low Down Entertainment and Moore Wood Productions.
