XBIZ Launches 2015 XBIZ Awards Trailer, Website

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce the launch of the official video trailer and website for the industry awards event of the year, the 2015 XBIZ Awards, presented by Fleshlight and hosted by superstar performer James Deen, on Jan. 15, 2015.

Deen will make XBIZ Awards history in January when he becomes the first male performer to ever host the red-carpet ceremony, which will be entering its 13th year honoring the best of the best from the industry.

The official website includes the full list of 2015 categories, XBIZ Awards history, media information and a complete rundown of previous winners, including videos of 2014’s top honorees accepting their awards on stage. In addition, the site includes exclusive photography from the 2014 event.

The centerpiece of the site is the official 2015 XBIZ Awards trailer starring Deen and featuring adult performers Jessa Rhodes, Dani Daniels, Maddy O’Reilly and Keisha Grey.

Industry veteran Dean Capture shot the video in early July at the Hustler Studio in Canoga Park, Calif., under the direction of Moe Helmy, who also is the executive producer of the XBIZ Awards.

“It wasn’t so much about being technical as it was about energy and creating a fun atmosphere,” Capture said.

Rhodes said, “I thought, ‘Oh we’re going to snap a couple photos, whatever. And I had a blast, it was awesome.”

Grey added, “We got to do a bunch of fun stuff, just goofed off.”

The XBIZ Awards earlier this year made industry history when the Los Angeles Times covered the 12th annual event with a feature story on its front page and photo essay online. Every year the biggest stars and most accomplished business figures in the adult industry have made the XBIZ Awards the most prestigious symbol of success. The annual ceremony attracts an elite gathering of movers and shakers of the multibillion-dollar business for one grand celebration.

The XBIZ Awards coincides with the industry’s trade events series of the year, XBIZ 360 which annually features an unprecedented lineup of special guest speakers and events dedicated to exploring the future of digital adult entertainment, movie production, pleasure products and retail. The 2015 XBIZ 360 events series is set to take over the trendy Andaz Hotel, located on Hollywood’s famed Sunset Strip, from Jan. 14-16.

Stay tuned for more announcements about the XBIZ Awards in the coming days, including the venue for the 2015 ceremony and the pre-nomination period.
