HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Smash Pictures has released a hardcore trailer for its parody blockbuster “American Hustle XXX,” which defies three simple common sense rules: don’t fuck with politicians, the mob or crazy mistresses.
Directed by Will Ryder, Aaliyah Love and Penny Pax play the leading ladies — Roselyn Rosenfeld and Sydney Prosser — made famous by Hollywood's Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams, while Tommy Gunn and Ryan McClain take on the males leads — Irving Rosenfeld and Richie Dimasio — originally portrayed by Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper.
While Smash preserves the aesthetic quality of David O’ Russell’s “American Hustle” with matched costumes, makeup and dialog, the studio introduces several novel erotic twists to the plotline.
For example, when the film’s two leading swindlers, Irving and Sydney, fall in love, they launch a prostitution ring in addition to their banking scam. Caught in the middle of an FBI sting helmed by perma-neurotic Dimasio, the couple are forced to help nail politicians by offering them bribes of millions of dollars — and women. A fake Arab is even enlisted to offer the bribes.
“The trouble really started when I fell in love with Syndey,” narrates Gunn an Irving, who gives a particularly convincing performace as the grizzled con-artist. “She was beautiful, adventurous and ran a scam better than I did. That is, until our luck ran out.”
Rio Lee plays a feared mob boss (originally played by Robert De Niro), who “could kill you with the bat of her eye.” Also featured in the film is Carter Cruise, Luna Starr, Mia Austin, Tommy Pistol, Van Wylde, Kurt Lockwood, Eric John, Frank Bukkwyd, James Bartholet and Jack Vegas. Ryder makes a brief cameo appearance as a desperate mark looking for a loan.
"The cast delivered picture-perfect performances and actually became the vibrant characters before shedding their clothes for the best sex I've seen all year," co-producer Scott David said.
