Good Vibrations Hosts OhMiBod's bluMotion Launch Party

SAN FRANCISCO — Good Vibrations, the iconic San Francisco-based sex toy retailer, announced an in-store product launch of OhMiBod’s blueMotion vibrator at its Palo Alto store in the heart of Silicon Valley.

As part of its mission to promote sexual health and education, the evening will include a Q&A discussion, “New Intimacy in a Connected World,” with OhMiBod co-founder Brian Dunham and Good Vibrations staff sexologist, Dr. Carol Queen.

blueMotion is a wearable vibrator that features innovative technology designed to allow couples to experience intimacy across long distances. Through OhMiBod’s Wi-Fi enabled Remote App, partners can control the vibrator with their smartphone.

“We are so excited to offer the newest example out-of-the-box vibratory thinking that our friends at OhMiBod bring to everything they do,” Dr. Queen said. “This app-enabled vibe lets people stay close and get frisky no matter how far from one another they are, and we know our customers have been waiting a long time for the promise of ‘teledildonics' to come to fruition.”

Attendees will receive an “insider’s look” at blueMotion from ideation to creation, as well as have the opportunity to test the technology at one of several stations using iPads equipped with the OhMiBod App, Skype and GChat.

Participants will also have the chance to win one of six blueMotion vibrators being raffled every 30 minutes. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided throughout the evening.

“We’re really in the 21st century now,” Dr. Queen said.

blueMotion Launch Party will take place at Good Vibrations located on534 Ramona St., Palo Alto, Calif. (between University & Hamilton) on Thursday, July 31, from 7-9 p.m.
