The video features Shane’s World’s female performers having unprotected sex with Plattsburgh State students. It was filmed about a year ago in a building that housed track and field athletes over the years, called the “track house.” A two-minute trailer from the two-hour video revealed Plattsburgh State students having sex while being cheered on by their peers.
“We can’t dictate moral standards for others, but the college does not condone use of our students by this sector of the video industry,” Keith Tyo, a spokesman for the school said. “It is sad, because it is going to do exactly what the video entertainment business wants to do, and that is to generate more publicity to increase sales of videos like this.”
“College Invasion 10” is available for sale online and features some of the Plattsburgh State students on its cover. The back of the box states that “an all-star porn cast” visited New York for “non-stop sex with college guys.” The “College Invasion” series has been featured on MTV, Rolling Stone Magazine, CNN and USA Today.
According to USA Today, a fraternity was suspended last year by California State University at Northridge because some of its members admitted participating in a Shane’s World video at an off-campus location.
“University police is reviewing the matter to determine if any laws or college regulations were violated,” Tyo said.
