Hot Octopuss Seeks 'Sex Toy Tester,' Announces Pulse Contest

LONDON — U.K.-based pleasure products company Hot Octopuss has announced two contests for fans of its  “Pulse” “guybrator.”

The British company is currently seeking “Male Orgasm Engineers,” to test Hot Octopuss’ new range of male and couples’ products. The part-time position will involve receiving prototype sex toys to review on a regular basis, and the “Engineers” will be required to report back with commentary.

“Not getting the buzz you need from your current job role?” asks Hot Octopuss in its job description. “Benefits include being allowed to work whenever the moment takes you, from the comfort of your own home, or anywhere in the world for that matter — maybe just not in public.”

The tongue-in-cheek job listing also offers a “lifetime supply of tissues to the lucky candidate.” To submit a “resume” outlining qualifications for the position, click here. The company will be accepting applicants until Aug. 5.

“Though the job listing may be a bit cheeky, we are indeed looking for official sex toy testers here at Hot Octopuss,“ said Adam Lewis, co-creator of Pulse and Hot Octopuss. “With our focus on technology, lifestyle and design, we are consistently working to develop products that represent the ultimate in luxury male and couples’ sex toys. Bringing official ‘Male Orgasm Engineers’ into our fold will allow us to conduct the proper research and development to fine-tune our current prototypes with a real user, to help create the next phase in male sex toy technology.”

Hot Octopuss aslo announced that it is collaborating with online retailer LoveHoney in a Pulse giveaway contest. To enter click here. The contest ends July 31.
