The Phoenix-based Schmidt is the celebrity sex tape hound who was involved with the Colin Farrell, Dustin “Screech” Diamond, Fred Durst, O.J. Simpson and Tonya Harding sex tapes.
“I’m in confidential talks with the right people,” Schmidt told XBIZ. “Everybody’s out there throwing shit around like they know what they’re doing. Everyone knows who I am and what I do. I’m the Grand Central Station for celebrity sex tapes.”
Federline is said to be peddling the tape to the highest bidder in the wake of his divorce from Spears and has allegedly been offered $26 million. The tape allegedly captures the couple in post-wedding bliss. The four-hour tape is said to contain many sexually explicit acts between the couple and was filmed in a bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
Schmidt would not confirm recent reports that have him staking a $100 million bid for the rights to the tape.
News of a Spears-Federline sex tape first surfaced in late 2005 after a member of the couple’s entourage threatened to make it public.
