Phoenix Marie Named Juliland 2014 jGrrl of the Year

LOS ANGELES — Juliland.com on Tuesday announced that Phoenix Marie has been named the 2014 jGrrl of The Year as part of its third annual Juliland Awards.

According to the Juliland announcement, "We are honored, grateful and just fucking excited to give this award to her, but even more thrilled that she said, 'It means a great deal to me, not just because — ha, ha, ha, ha [Juliland photographer Richard Avery] loves me more than everyone else! — but because of the friendship I have with Dick.'

"'If tomorrow Juliland vanished, I would still want to see him as much as our schedules would allow. He spends a lot if time in the straight jacket these days. Just saying.'”
