WASHINGTON — The Food and Drug Administration today issued a new advisory warning for Zhen Gong Fu, a penis pill brand that was marketed to last for a week on consumers.
The FDA said that Zhen Gong Fu claimed it is "all natural" but was found to contain an undeclared ingredient — sildenafil, the active ingredient in the prescription Viagra.
Zhen Gong Fu, the FDA said, was sold at brick-and-mortar retail shops and on the web. It was sold in 3500mg doses and was marketed to last for seven and one-half days.
"Consumers should stop using this product immediately and throw it away," the FDA said.
