LOS ANGELES — XBIZ TV is pleased to announce an exclusive new video interview with Riley Reid, the reigning XBIZ Female Performer of the Year.
The Miami native in January became the first porn star in industry history to win the Female Performer of the Year and Best New Starlet awards in successive years.
“That was really amazing to me, and I was and still am so flattered and I still can’t believe it when I hear it,” Reid says.
Reid left the XBIZ Awards at Century Plaza Hotel on Jan. 24 as the night’s big winner. She also received honors for Best Actress – Parody for her role in X-Play/Adam & Eve’s “Grease XXX” as well as Best Supporting Actress for “The Submission of Emma Marx” for New Sensations.
She said the role of Sandy in “Grease” was a blast, aside from one key wardrobe factor.
“The wig was a bummer but besides that I had fun with the dancing and the playing around, the sexy little outfit,” Reid said.
While the free-spirited performer captured honors for her acting, she arguably is best known for her sex performances that do not involve playing a character.
“I think I prefer gonzo in a sense because it’s just like boom, there’s the penis and I can do whatever I want — or the pussy, whatever it is,” Reid joked. “I’m so sex driven, that’s why I’m here.”
As Reid approaches her three-year anniversary in porn, she admits she didn’t expect to be where she is today.
“I honestly didn’t think my porn career was going to last,” Reid said. “I just didn’t even think about it. I never considered the possibility of me being this ‘famous’ porn star.”
