SexEntertain Inks Deal With Vivid Entertainment Group

LOS ANGELES — Content leasing and outsourced feeds solution company SexEntertain has been tapped by Vivid Entertainment Group to repackage the studio’s extensive video library into a full portfolio of leased content products.

The deal marks the continued expansion of SexEntertain’s new business model, which it developed out of its experience in maximizing the technology behind the feeds business.

“With this deal, and future deals of this kind, we are redesigning business in the leased content market by taking premium content under one roof and becoming a one-stop-shop for webmasters’ content needs,” SexEntertain Vice President Michael M. told XBIZ. “We're very excited about working closely with Vivid to expand their extraordinary brand, increase content sales and for the first time allow webmasters worldwide to access Vivid’s huge library in the sophisticated web packaging for which SexEntertain is well known.”

According to Michael M., Vivid sought out SexEntertain because of its success in helping Full On Video build its feed business.

“It’s a good strategic alliance,” Michael M. said. “They targeted us because of our work with Full On Video. It’s a natural fit.”

VividCash General Manager Mike C. said he has high expectations for the deal.

“My team approached SexEntertain months ago seeking their input on ways to improve our leased content business,” Mike C. said. “They have been a vendor for our VividCash program for quite some time, and [they] have always proven to be innovative and reliable. SexEntertain will be instrumental in helping us to achieve the success in the leased content market we have achieved with video-on-demand and our affiliate programs.”
