SAN FRANCISCO — One of the biggest nights in the gay adult entertainment industry, the Grabby Awards, concluded with big wins for Falcon & Raging Stallion Studios.
A total of seven trophies were taken home by the studios including a win for Best Fetish for "The Trustees" from Fetish Force, Best Art Direction for Tony Dimarco’s "Behind the Big Top," and multiple awards for Falcon & Raging Stallion Studios exclusive performers, plus a Lifetime Achievement honor for company President Chris Ward.
"Behind the Big Top," Tony Dimarco’s look at the hot sex that goes on behind the scenes at a traveling circus, won for its old-style circus set design. "The Trustees" features captors who extract carnal pleasure from their captives in a dark vision of tyranny and power from the fevered imagination of director Tony Buff.
Falcon exclusive Ryan Rose took home the trophy for Best Versatile Performer honored for his topping and bottoming skills. Raging Stallion exclusive Boomer Banks, measuring in at over 10 inches, won Hottest Cock and the coveted Performer of the Year award in a field filled with the top stars in the business.
Fellow Raging Stallion exclusive Shawn Wolfe was also a big winner of the night on the performer side taking home two Grabbys: one for Best Newcomer and one for Best Duo for his scene in "Frat House Cream," the Best Movie and Best Director winner produced by Falcon and Raging Stallion’s brother studio NakedSword Originals. The feature was executive produced and written by NakedSword President Tim Valenti and directed by Mr. Pam.
A Lifetime Achievement Award, which is sparingly given out by the Grabbys, was bestowed upon Falcon & Raging Stallion Studios President Chris Ward, a 20-plus-year veteran of the industry who started as a performer and grew into a multi-award winning director and producer. In his acceptance speech Ward graciously thanked his many industry mentors and the hundreds and hundreds of performers and behind-the-scenes employees that have made his visions a reality.
Ward commented on the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Grabbys, “I am very grateful to have received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the guys at Grab Magazine. It is an award I will always cherish. I am also thrilled that our studio and our actors did well this year at the awards show. All three of our top guys — Boomer Banks, Shawn Wolfe, and Ryan Rose came out on top! It’s all about the models, and I am thankful that we have some of the best in the business. I also am very proud of the team over at Naked Sword. Tim and his crew have been filming scenes for only a few years now, and they took home the top prizes this weekend — Best Picture and Best Director. It was a great night for our affiliated companies!”
Through the years Raging Stallion Studios and Falcon Studios have won scores of Grabbys, and for this year's awards, the studios and their stars combined to garner more than 45 nominations in multiple categories.
The Grabbys, owned by Grab Magazine, have been honoring the best in gay porn for 20 years. Hosted by ChiChi LaRue and Honey West in Chicago, the awards have historically been presented in a live ceremony during Memorial Day weekend in conjunction with the International Mister Leather Contest.
