JT, 'The YouPorn Guy,' to Deliver XBIZ EU Keynote Address

LONDON — XBIZ is pleased to announce that JT, “The YouPorn Guy,” will be its special guest keynote speaker for the 2014 edition of XBIZ EU, the international digital media event that draws leading U.K., European and American industry players for three days of education, networking and business opportunities.

XBIZ EU, slated Sept. 25-28, will set the scene for the most extensive conference program since its inception four years ago. This year, the show offers a new and exciting central London venue, The Hilton London Metropole Hotel — the perfect setting for uniting industry players from around the world.

JT was chiefly responsible for guiding YouPorn.com to its user base that grew to hundreds of millions of monthly visitors. After selling to Manwin, now MindGeek, in 2011, JT immediately developed a brand-new portfolio of paysites under the Really Useful Cash network.

In May, JT was featured as the subject of an XBIZ World magazine "Presidential Suite" profile and last year won the CEO of the Year at the XBIZ Executive Awards held in London.

JT told XBIZ that he's excited to be asked to do the keynote for XBIZ's London show in September, and hopes to offer an address that provides some personal guidance where the industry is headed.

"I’m looking forward to speaking about my history, my start in the industry, how we handled the meteoric rise of YouPorn.com, starting ReallyUsefulCash.com and where we are at today with the company," JT said. "I will also touch on the new gTLDs, and, in particular, answer why I am such a prolific buyer of the .xxx domains.

"I will discuss why I believe the industry is heading towards an inflection point and the measures that, as a content owners, we should be putting in place. And finally, I am hoping for a lively Q&A session towards the end of the keynote.”

Alec Helmy, founder and publisher of XBIZ, said that JT's success story, as well as his business tips for company executives and entrepreneurs, should offer an enlightened experience for attendees of XBIZ EU in September.

“JT is someone who thinks out of the box, sticks to his dreams and as a result, has attained extraordinary success despite the uncertainties surrounding the biz,” said Alec Helmy, founder and publisher of XBIZ. "It’s a great privilege for us to present JT as our special guest keynote for our upcoming XBIZ EU show.”

The Hilton London Metropole Hotel, located just blocks from Paddington Station — the terminal offering a quick, 15-minute transportation solution to and from the airport via the Heathrow Express — is now offering special room rates to attendees of XBIZ EU 2014 at £175 a night, which includes breakfast.

For a limited time, made possible by the sponsors of XBIZ EU 2014, members of XBIZ.net qualify to receive free or discounted show registration based on their area of business.
