LOS ANGELES — Adam & Eve Pictures has reached an agreement with veteran director Will Ryder and his production label X-Play to create an original sex comedy with the working title of "Sold!."
The project was born when Ryder was writing a new script about a Beverly Hills real estate firm that is suddenly turned upside down by a sexy young female intern.
"When we read the story synopsis we all knew immediately that this would be a perfect movie for Adam & Eve Pictures," said Bob Christian, general manager of Adam & Eve.
X-Play and Adam & Eve have a long history of teaming together for comedies starting back with the award-winning "Not Bewitched XXX" and continuing with many other acclaimed titles such as "Flight Attendants," "Beverly Hillbillies XXX," "Rocky XXX," "Not Animal House XXX" and "Grease XXX," which swept the 2014 award shows.
"We seem to have a very successful project each time we make a movie with Scott and Jeff and of course Will Ryder," Christian said, referring to X-Play co-producers Scott David and Jeff Mullen who is also quietly known as Will Ryder.

"This movie is wide open as far as roles as concerned nobody has been cast so we welcome both men and women to submit with a phone call or an email," Ryder said.
"I really think this is going to be funny, original and something out of the box for those that think all we make are parodies," Scott David remarked.
Ryder, a big fan of Judd Apatow, is hoping the movie feels like a modern classic comedy.
"It has to be great because I want to deliver enjoyable entertainment for the entire family, as long as everybody is 18 and over of course," Ryder said.
