Gear Leather and Fetish Acquires JIMsupport, LeatherStock

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. — Gear Leather and Fetish announced today that it has acquired the JIMsupport brand of portable steel BDSM furniture and eScents Of, LLC, the maker of LeatherStock leather-scented products. It has consolidated all three businesses under a new corporate entity, Fetish Locker, Inc.

“It’s a huge honor to have been chosen to carry on the legacies of such widely regarded gay men’s fetish brands,” said John McBain, Fetish Locker president and CEO. “We look forward to leveraging their existing strengths, as well as bringing both lines to the broader kink/fetish/BDSM marketplace.”

Founded in 2005, Gear Leather and Fetish owners McBain and Ken Blochowski say they look forward to bringing the qualities which have made their retail store successful — personal product knowledge, exceptional customer service and business acumen — to the newly formed venture.

The duo reported they have established manufacturing practices which have increased JIMsupport’s quality and efficiency, enabling them to reduce wholesale prices. They have also announced a new, always-in-stock policy for both brands’ core items, and shipping of most wholesale orders within twenty-four hours of receipt.

“JIMsupport and LeatherStock have been two of our favorite vendors for years,” said Ken Blochowski, Fetish Locker vice president and marketing director. “To be able to relaunch these brands and share our love for them with new audiences is a dream come true.”

Blochowski added that over the next year, customers can expect “re-imagined online shopping experiences, new and improved products, and enhanced merchandise availability” through new retail partnerships worldwide.
