N.Y. Daily News Takes Look at MrMan.com

CHICAGO — MrMan.com got a big plug yesterday from the New York Daily News, which introduced to mainstream America the massive database of high-def nude scenes from mainstream movies and TV, exclusively focused on male nudity and guy-oriented sexuality.

MrMan.com is the male version of MrSkin.com, the 15-year-old site that's the leading purveyor of female celeb nudity, logging more than 11 million visitors each month.

The Daily News story discusses the companion site and the man behind MrSkin.com, Jim McBride, who estimates that his company, SK Interntainment, has 700,000 female nude photographs and video clips archived on MrSkin.com.

The news piece also includes a top 10 nude stars, according to the site's careful calculations, "with star ratings (out of four) that reflect what the actor was willing to do to get a rise out of audiences."

SK Intertainment COO Sam Rakowski told XBIZ on Tuesday that the added publicity is a big plus for the site, which launched in October.

"We've always been fortunate in the amount of free, mainstream publicity we’ve garnered for Mr. Skin and we are now able to leverage those relationships to boost our new brands," Rakowski said. "At the end of the day though, I think it’s important to just focus on your product and being the best at what you do. If you do that, people will want to write about it."

Chicago-based SK Intertainment operates MrSkin.com, MrMan.com, NakedNews.com and Fleshbot.com, as well as affiliate program MrSkinCash.com.
