Asa Akira Celebrates 'Insatiable' Book Launch at Hustler Hollywood

LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures exclusive Asa Akira will be celebrating the release of her memoir, “Insatiable: Porn — a Lovestory” May 15 with a book launch party at the storied Hustler Hollywood store in West Hollywood, Calif.

At the event, Akira will be meeting with fans and signing the book, which will be available for purchase at the store. The first 25 people in line will receive a gift bag and attendees will have opportunities to win “Wicked” prizes throughout the night.

“This week saw the release of my first book, 'Insatiable,' and I'm just amazed at all the attention it's getting,” Akira said. “When writing it, my goal was to show this industry in an honest, positive light, and so far it seems to be doing the job.

"I'll be ending the week with a book signing at the Hustler store in Hollywood, which I am so excited and nervous for" she added. "I hope a lot of people can make it out to celebrate with me."

Insatiable: Porn — A Love Story" officially released on May 6 through Grove Press and has since gotten nods from mainstream news outlets, including Salon and Interview Magazine.

The 2012 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year said it took her about six months to write the book. She told XBIZ she started it before Thanksgiving in 2012 and finished in May 2013, using her regular journal entries and even her popular Twitter feed as reference points to jog her memory.

Hustler Hollywood is located at 8920 Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood, Calif.
