VALENCIA, Calif. — Girlfriends Films reported today that it has accepted a significant price break for shipping with FedEx.
Beginning next week, customers that receive orders from Girlfriends’ UPS account will now receive their orders from its FedEx account.
“As a company that encourages the DVD market, we want to pass along these saving to you and your company so we can all be successful,” Girlfriends Films president Moose said. “If you would like us to quote the shipping on your order next week to compare with your rate, feel free to ask. Also if you have a FedEx account that you would like to use please advise us to use it.”
Girlfriends’ same-day shipping policy is now more time sensitive. Customers who want same-day shipping must email, call or fax in their orders by no later than 12 p.m. PST.
Moose noted that this new rule is especially important for new release shipments.
