Doc Johnson Sponsors ‘Coming Out Kinky’ Show

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Doc Johnson announced that it sponsored Jean Franzblau’s one-woman comedy show, "Coming Out Kinky-A Grown Up Story" at the Santa Monica Promenade Playhouse on May 3 and 4.

The company supplied the show with two large gift baskets filled with products from their Black Rose collection of toys. The baskets, both with a retail cost of $250, were raffled away as grand prizes to celebrate the show’s opening weekend.

“When we heard about Coming Out Kinky, which chronicles author Jean Franzblau’s journey into the world of fetish and BDSM, we knew we wanted to offer our support in some way,” COO Chad Braverman said.

He added, “Jean’s sex-positive viewpoint is a perfect match for Doc Johnson; and our Black Rose collection, with its emphasis on upscale and sophisticated BDSM products, seemed to tie in perfectly with Jean’s concept. We made two beautiful gift baskets she could raffle away on the show’s opening weekend, and they were received wonderfully.”

Franzblau performed Coming Out Kinky to a sold out crowd on both nights. Doc Johnson said a portion of all proceeds from the show will be donated to non-profit organization Sex Postive World.
