Penthouse’s Eric Danville to Moderate Sssh.com's 'Sex Talk Tuesday'

LOS ANGELES — The Twitter-based, sex chat "Sex Talk Tuesday" announced Thursday that it is welcoming Eric Danville as its guest moderator on April 29.

Danville will lead a discussion that covers a range of topics, including porn and erotica’s impact on relationships, both as an enhancing and potentially disruptive force. Danville is an adult industry journalist with more than two decades of publishing experience. He is also the author of "The Complete Linda Lovelace," the only authorized biography of the controversial former adult star and pop-culture icon. Currently the managing editor of Penthouse magazine, Danville previously served as an editor of High Times and Al Goldstein’s notorious Screw magazine.

Angie Rowntree, publisher of Sssh.com, said that Danville’s knowledge of Linda Lovelace and of the adult entertainment industry in general give him a unique perspective on the topic of porn’s place in modern culture and within interpersonal relationships.

“Linda Lovelace brought the topic of porn into the living rooms of mainstream America,” Rowntree said. “From 'Deep Throat,' the first adult film to have a real plot and to be shown as a feature film, to the subsequent biographies about her life in the business, Lovelace’s complicated and rocky career and personal life helped to open a dialogue about porn in America. Eric’s research into Lovelace’s life, career and social influence, along with the rest of his background, make him a great choice to lead a discussion on the influence that porn has today on our lives, relationships and society."

The Twitter-based chat is held every Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. PST. To participate, use the #SexTalkTuesday hashtagon Twitter. For more information, or to inquire about serving as a guest moderator, contact Rowntree at editor@sssh.com or go to sextalktuesday.com.
