LOS ANGELES — "The Dating Game" is getting revived yet again, but not the way you remembered it...
Vivid Entertainment has announced the release of retro spoof “The Dating Game XXX: A Porn Parody,” online April 8 and in stores April 22.
In his comedic parody of the multiple-decade (1965-1999!) spanning ABC network show, director Hank Hoffman says he has taken the “Dating Game’s” signature swinging 60s sexual innuendo and double entendre a long step further.
In a typical “Dating Game” episode, a bachelorette would question three bachelors, who were hidden from her view; at the end of the questioning period, she would choose one to go out with on a date paid for by the show.
Hoffman’s updated hardcore version stars Michael Vegas as the engaging host, known as Tim Schlang, who gets to know the show’s female contestants on an intimate level that would surely make his predecessor Jim Lange blush.
Vegas leads a cast that includes Penny Pax, Bailey Blue, Anikka Albrite, Ash Hollywood, Danny Wylde and Tommy Gunn — who all rock a groovy mod aesthetic.
